On our new website, you will find all the information you need to plan your trip or become a member of the museum. You can even read an overview of the history of the fire service in our area. More importantly, though, you’ll be able to review the new Roll of Honor, where we pay tribute to those members that made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the community. This area will gradually expand to include the names of all regional on duty deaths as well as the stories behind them.
In addition, our quarterly electronic newsletter, The Relic Room, will be posted under the Newsletter tab where you’ll also be able to read new and archived issues. Our blog section, however, will be used to share upcoming events and items of interest. You’ll also see an online donation button on the website which allows us to accept donations with credit card and/or PayPal, making it easier than ever to support our continued growth and success!
We hope our new website and blog will serve as the foundation for major improvements in the way our visitors experience the museum. As we look to the future our plans include the development of an app to guide you through our facility, an improved user experience plan for all ages, and the redevelopment of the safety house as the first step in our major capital improvement campaign. We are excited about the future and grateful for your continued support!
We’re also very thankful for Mark Holland and his team at Holland Advertising: Interactive. Their expertise and hard work combined with the knowledge of our very own historian, Justin Peter, allowed us to develop a site that we’re very proud of. We deeply appreciate their generosity and commitment to supporting the Cincinnati Fire Museum.
